NBA 2017 MVP race – part 13

(Originally posted on Sunday, 12 March 2017)

All the data I used I found on this site:
http://www.basketball-reference.com/

On 10 March 2017 the Golden State Warriors recorded their 13th loss of the season and now there are no teams with less the 13 losses.

With the assumptions described in this post:
http://glen-cook-fan-site.blogspot.com/2016/11/nba-2017-mvp-race-part-1.html ,
according to the data from the games up to 10 March 2017 the current NBA 2017 MVP race list is this:

1. James Harden:      2433.74 (projected team wins: 56)
2. Kevin Durant:      2144.57 (projected team wins: 66)
3. Russell Westbrook:      2112.48 (projected team wins: 45)
4. Stephen Curry:      2027.03 (projected team wins: 66)
5. Kawhi Leonard:      1943.29 (projected team wins: 64)
6. LeBron James:      1907.21 (projected team wins: 55)
7. John Wall:      1768.07 (projected team wins: 51)
8. Isaiah Thomas:      1624.98 (projected team wins: 51)
9. Kyrie Irving:      1444.73 (projected team wins: 55)
10. Klay Thompson:      1438.20 (projected team wins: 66)

The Golden State Warriors lost 4 of their last 6 games. I have to repeat it once again: Kevin Durant had been a VERY strong MVP candidate before his injury.
